Seriously though, EA. Command & Conquer is dead. You killed it. Stop poking its corpse, please.

I don't feel absolute schadenfreude over this news necessarily, but I do think it's good that this crappy game thankfully won't be seeing the light of day at all.

This new game is going to suck so incredibly hard, of that I have not the slightest doubt. Seriously the fact that there's even a question at all of "Will it have single-player?" is terrible, even if that question ends up being a reluctant "yes" on the part of EA. And the fact that it's going to be a F2P game... ugh. Just ugh...

Nope, sorry. Nice try, EA, but I'm still not interested in this game in the slightest bit, outside of ranting about it as a symptom of what is wrong with EA as a whole. Besides, we already know what Mr. Gibeau's stance on singleplayer games is.

I was pretty sure this game was going to suck the first moment I heard about it.

Well, as it turns out, I was right.

Except that it's not really BioWare at all. It's "BioWare Victory", which is just some new, generic division of EA* with the "BioWare" name slapped on it, which apparently has nothing whatsoever to do with the actual BioWare aside from both of them being owned by EA.
