I've had the flu for days, and I should still be in bed.

But today I'm leaving the house at 7AM, taking a class to expunge something from my record, then rushing to work and staying until late.

Yesterday I couldn't even stand in line at the bank without nearly passing out.

Today I insist on making it.

Much less excited about orientation than I am about the job itself. I'm on the schedule from 11:30-11 today. And this place likes to nitpick your every turn of phrase. Got fired today for having a conscience. I'm really sad, but should have seen it coming.

I don't know why I expected more out of a company that hired me under a fraudulent contract to pull off an enormous tax scam, but I did. Our HR director outright lied to me about the terms of the new contracts, and I'm so angry about the lack of integrity in this company.
