Whew, what a day. I have four hours left at my internship, then I'm done. Forever. I walked in this morning and immediately saw a "Best Wishes" balloon and a gift card from Barnes and Noble on my desk. In usual karensimms form I started bawling right there. Nice. I just got home form A's parent-teacher conference. He is at the top of the level where he is supposed to be in reading (reading at an almost first grade level already), The top of the level where he is supposed to be in math (already doing first grade work), and has skipped a level and is currently one level higher than his peers in writing ( ( Read more... )
