First: Wow, so the whole PW-Movie-stuff is confirmed now? ...It's prolly gonna be pretty cool. I'm still miffy about how Capcom completely ignores Apollo and his Crew >:(
Bruno is a robot from the future. That's about all I was able to figure out. I'm pretty sure that's the only thing that matters, isn't it? All of season 3 makes no goddamn sense anyway. Why did it have to be so looooong? XD
*still wins the dubious "fan of the most unappreciated characters" prize* Why will no one take pity on me and give me something to read? God. I am a motherfucking one man army on the fic-writing front. D: Although it is equally upsetting that Divine totally gets the shaft too. I am still cursing his lack in TF4 because oh my god, Aki's storylines just do not make ANY SENSE without him. It's like "we're going to talk about him but never show his face once. By the way, he's dead now. Let's go fight Misty and Carly." wat? ....you know, now I'm wondering if every Tag Force has had a character related fail this major. Because I certainly know the two 5Ds ones do. But the only thing I ever cared about in the GX ones was Edo and he was always there, save for the first one which was season one anyway
( ... )
I am so glad 5d's was the shortest YGO ever, because with every effin arc it got worse and worse and WORSE.
I know with Pearson, Bolger, Rick and everyone it has to be worse, my heart definitely goes out to you :( Damn, I have no idea why the frick the writers started to hate Divine so much after the Fortune Cup arc was over @__@ Heard about how Aki's TF4 plot only mentiones Divine but never shows him. WHY is he missing? It's completely ridiculous! x__X
I still wanted another season after the third one in some desperate hope that they would bring the Arcadia Movement back it would somehow be better. Although I did find Zone immediately more awesome once I found out he wasn't actually Yusei. Because I'm different and strange like that.
WHY is he missing? It's completely ridiculous!
Because Konami is fucking lazy and didn't want to do sprites and think up a plotline for him? (which is probably for the best since we all know what happens when Konami tries to write Arcadia stuff XD D:) At least he gets to be in that XBox one, as shallow and lame as it is. I squeed so hard. And then I wiped the floor with him and felt really bad about it. XD
Oh, yeah, a third season that'd have been about the AM, I think that'd have been something like my personal heaven, but I think we all know this would have been as likely as Yusei becoming an interesting character throughout the show who genuinely cares about his friends
( ... )
O molly, you and your dinosaurs xD i dunno i still like Divine's artwork from that Duel Terminal video i showed you. I know how it feels to have your hopes crushed when you find out he wasn't in either tag force games but its nice to know that Aki isn't mad at him, remember what i told you in Lucciano's storyline?
Indeed. To know their plans... oh wouldn't that be glorious. You sometimes learn stuff like that about comic writers, where one writer will tell you that he had certain plot points in mind, but then another writer took over but it never happened. Like, a while ago, a character was outed in an issue of X-Factor, and the writer admitted to having had that plan for ages, when he was writing him in another series, but didn't get the opportunity then. XD
But I guess we'll never know about Jack and Yusei, or about Divine's real purpose, or what the whole FIVE dragon thing was about.
(Seriously, these writers managed to write themselves into a corner where the whole basic idea of the show was MUTE! The original writers must have been hitting their heads against every available surface for a while now...)
I have watched all of GX, almost all of DM, stopped watching 5D's when it became too dumb, and watched three episodes of Zexal. ^^;; .... I dunno, if I had to name a character I hate of 5D's, it would be Yusei. And there is an explanation as to why Kiryu can change his character like he did in 5D's, and this explanation is called "bipolar disorder". It explains why he was so jumpy and all "8D hey, let's conquer Satellite!", and then laughing his ass off and then being all depressive in Crashtown. It follows the pattern of this mental disorder so well, Kiryu must be severe case of "bipolar disorder"! Bruno... well, I never got what he had lost in the series either. *shrugs*
About the moment that would make me cry... I seldomly cry. One thing I am absolutely sure about is tht I had never before had so many facepalms with any other series than with YuGiOh 5D's. Seriously. Especially with the fandom.
I think you're getting that bipolar disorder thing a bit wrong ^^° Bipolar disorder is about episodes of mania and depression. What happened to Kiryu definitely weren't episodically happening complete swings of mood. His whole character changed and stayed like that for a whole while every few years in throughout different stages of his life. With bipolar disorder we're talking about episodes that last about one week to a month, afaik. So you see, being all "happy go lucky" for two years, then depressed for half a year, then batshit crazy for the next one and a half year and finally suicidal for the next year is something entirely else.
I'd rather understand the explanation that it's logical to be depressed in prison or after realizing you (almost) killed hundreds of people, but even this isn't enough for me to accept the complete changes of character he went through from appearance to appearance.
though, I have to admit, I got this idea with the bipolar disorder from here: http://csalmar.deviantart.com/art/Good-Days-187848160 and even though you explained it all better, I STILL cannot quite get the theory away from my mind. ^^;; Hasn't bipolar different sub-types in which the length of the different episodes could correlate with what we have seen with Kiryu? If not, what other mental disorder could he have?

No one except Ranko herself ever thought of her as a queen in any niché of any fandom ever in the history of fandoms...
So, I guess this is a YGO Meme then, huh? *smart ass*

It's been said before. All of it, I suppose.
But whatever. Best head canon in the world.
Jack and Yusei... I wish I knew what that writer of the first few episodes had originally planned for them. Ú__Ùx
