So I talked to Brian Priefer last night about the possibility of moving in as a housemate and did some more packing. My co-worker just moved and gave me like 50 boxes. So had the inspection yesterday and there was some pretty bad news.

The garbage disposal wasn't wired correctly.

I am really getting the "meant to be" vibe on this whole process. I called my loan officer for some other reason and she asked if I wanted to go ahead and lock in the rate since it came down from 6.875 when they did the work up to 6.625 today. All that is left with the house is the inspection now. Scotty was wondering if I had any buyer's remorse since I guess that is typical but I don't at all. I got the house I wanted, in the area I wanted for 25k under what I wanted to pay. All in all it worked out pretty fantastically for me. So I had pretty much decided to put in an offer on the monroe house already Friday. I was home after poker and talking to a friend overseas and was going to the MLS link to send to them and lo and behold they have dropped the price 10k before I could offer on it! So I am going to look at a couple more houses this weekend then take a second look at the Monroe house with Fleak and Jonna. I will most likely put in a bid on the Monroe house next week as soon as all my pre-stuff I's are dotted and T's are crossed.
