Hey Vishala:)

I got Horses a few years ago and whilst songs like Birdland and the title track are really good, I think her lyrics are absolutely dreadful adolescent poetry and she takes herself FAAAR to seriously. I've got a love/hate relationship with Patti. Johnny and Morrissey love her though, so she must be alright;)

heya ruth. "dreadful adolescent poetry." haha, i think this is why i'm afraid of writing lyrics, or even attempting. there's just no point, if it's not inspired. i haven't taken a really good look at the lyrics of this album i got, i really like her voice and the mood and melodies. :)
