As you've noticed, I've been absent from LiveJournal for some time. I don't agree with how things have been run, as far as adding banner ads and the shutting down of journals because some computer somewhere decided they had questionable content on them.

Thanksgiving
It was a really low-key turkey day. We basically sat around at my mom's doing nothing. I've been sick all week, so that was a-ok with me. Holy shit, it sucks to hit a deer.
Yep. We were on 495 coming home from Worcester last night, when I saw a deer start running across the road from the center of the highway. I had time to shout "DEER DEER DEER!" and Jon slowed down enough so that we were going between 40 and 50 when it jumped in front of us and we hit it. So I can finally announce that I've been promoted to the Tech Support department manager at work. It's a ton of responsibility, and Bill's been giving me more and more things to do just to see how much I could handle.
I'm really excited about it. Yay me! -
Not really an update...
Haven't really had anything to post lately. It's been a bit stressful at work lately, abut nothing much going on other than that. -
Dad is home.
He went home yesterday. He sounded really happy to be out of there. He's hoping to go back to work in 2 weeks. I hope he doesn't push himself too hard, but I've already told him that, so there's nothing more I can say to him without sounding like a nag. :)
