Huge Giant Hugs!

I totally understand. I skip the cakes at work, I'm tired of explaining.

People don't get the I'll die if I have dairy, no I can't scrap off the frosting, I'll be miserable if I have yeast or sugar, and no fitting in is not enough to make a two day fever worth it.

I do know, you'll be relaxing in a inn in 8 days that does have a clue about gluten free.

:) Thanks. There are several people on my friends list that understand this, and thank god for that. Jon is an angel, he's so good about this, and he really does understand what I go through, but doesn't actually go through it himself. Plus I feel bad complaining at him all the time, so it's good to have other people to vent to. ;)

People are LAME. I thought gluten allergies were becoming more "popular," meaning more and more people are being made aware of them. I guess there's still a lot of people who aren't :(

Question, does Diet Coke have artificial sweeteners?

Yes. Diet Coke either contains nutra sweet or splenda.

katespace you should try Passover Coke, yummy, no corn syrup.

I also can't do any of the artificial sweetners, including Splenda, and am constantly amazed when people don't believe me that I'm allergic (I can remember one person in particular going - IT's SUGAR! HOW CAN YOU BE Allergic to SUGAR?!?; gAH ! It's chemically a sugar the same way the salt you put on your walk is chemically a salt- I still wouldn't want to eat either one).

and Splenda keeps sneaking into things made with darker wheats, which I can eat and do like, so I keep having to read every label.

So I don't know the pain of gluten sensitivity or allergies, but I do understand the idiots to an extent. I'm sorry it's been rough on you lately.

**Hugs!**

I thought people were becoming more aware of it now too. Although, the first time I heard about it, I was confused.

I sowry people are so ignorant. People still tell me that if I didn't eat so much I wouldn't have become Diabetic. Or decide they will not let me have a brownie because "I'm not allowed to."

Stupid People suck. Sorry, i didn't know potatoes had wheat in it. I'm stupid sometimes. But i love you, so i think that's what matters! <3
