I'd like to apologise sincerly, and I mean not just because Higgs made me or anything dumb like that - but sincerly, because I really am sorry - for partaking in the most decidedly untrue gossip about you, Miss Spinnet and Higgs.

I should have known you better, and remembered that you were always nice to me when we were on the Quidditch team together before you left school - and known, therefore, that you wouldn't do anything like that.

I'm also really, really sorry that I didn't make a proper effort to stop and reason with Ginny before she ran with the gossip to the malicious extremity that she did.

If I could make it up to you, I would.

Please forgive me?

I forgive you. Though I can't imagine where such ridiculous ideas can have come from.

Terence is a friend of mine, yes. But nothing more. And I don't see why the nature of our relationship is anyone else's business, at all.

I do appreciate your apology. And also, I'm not to worried about some stupid gossip at this point. I've got other things to worry about. Like NOT having a crush on my boss, must make stupid crush go away!

Wait... what's this about Ginny? Was Ginny involved?
