Yesterday was pretty, but cold. We had a storm blow through dumping sleety rain and snow for most of the day before. But the grass needed water so I didn't mind it too much. Fate smiles upon me:

I just found one unopened Henry Weinhard's Vanilla Cream Soda in the door of the refrigerator. It's like an oasis in the desert! Question is, do I hurry and drink it before Shawn wakes up from his nap? Or do I save half for him? DAMN this guilt!

Six out of seven family members have now succumbed to the current plague infecting our home. It starts with a vague unwell feeling, followed by a sudden high fever and exhaustion. Just a quick post to let folks know we made it home from Montana last night, safe and sound. I will admit that I thought we were going to die a couple of times. The Homestake pass between Whitehall and Butte, Montana, is a very steep, winding road with sheer drop offs on both sides of the highway. Once again, time has passed much too quickly and I don't know where it all went. I also can't think of much to write about...which is silly because a lot has been happening.
