Today is normally a sunny, beautiful day. To have rain on this day of the year is rare, but maybe that shows we are growing up and moving past.

This weekend topped the Jack O Lantern Jog runs of all time. We didn't have rain, we didn't have clear skies, we had frigid 33 degrees and snowing. What more  could you ask for in October, right?

I'm  aware that what feels right isn't always what is right. But what about what's supposed to feel right, just doesn't? Do you ever have those days - that you know you're not doing the wrong thing, yet somehow you're not up to par with those doing the right thing.

At the beginning of the school year, I was told I would have a class for five days a week versus the normal two days a week. I panicked. I had my units organized for the year and lesson plans done through December - what on earth was I going to do with three more lessons a week?

Sixteen days ago I ran my first half marathon. Three days later, my husband and I moved out of our first place as husband and wife and into our new home. Four days after that, we celebrated his first birthday in our new home with a new vegetable garden and the next day celebrated my birthday with a night out to dinner near our new home.
