I finally got my laptop back! It's been at least a month. I'm completely lost as my mind is now in pc world and the notebook is a mac. It's coming back but it'll take a couple days i'm sure.Anyhow, i feel quite wireless and liberated and free and happy and all of the things real americans are supposed to feel.

my mother just called and told me that my grandmother has an hour or two to live. she's 81-years-old. i'm in salt lake city, about 750 miles away. i wish i was there now but i won't be driving back until saturday or sunday. i hope my mom will be alright.

i'm going to phoenix tomorrow. it's going to be quite an adventure because i will be driving a 1960 volkswagen crew-cab pick-up truck that i bought last week. it had been parked since 1991 and my roommate and i just got it running and driving last night. i'm pretty sure that i'll make it just fine, and if not, my air mattress fits in the bed so i ( Read more... )

i worked on my new (old) truck all afternoon. it's a 1960 vw crew cab pickup. billie and i put a motor in it and did a complete brake job. it should be on the road tomorrow. i'm hoping to have it ready to drive to arizona in about 10 days. it's super cool.
