Some of the ones like "Tiger" are very similar to stained glass aren't they?

I have been to Tate Modern, but I need to explore more.

The Tate Modern has a lot of very famous innovative artists but you have to know where to look ;)

I love Franz Marc’s work. Many of his paintings are now sadly lost.

I love Franz Marc and you are right: Tiger is glorious. I really like the cows, too. They could be an illustration for a line from Tolkien’s poem Mythopoeia:
“the strange slow oddity of cows.”

Franz Marc is definitely one of my favourite Expressionist artists. I would happily have one of his works at home.

I love the Franz Marc paintings. It all blends together so well.... I wish I could explain better how these paintings make me feel!

I know what you mean - sometimes a painting or artwork just has a certain 'something' that you love (and perhaps other people don't!).
