Yesterday Mr Cee and I went to London to meet up with a guided walk along the South Bank of the Thames and look at the various sculptures. I do recall seeing the International Brigades memorial. It is quite moving when you know the history and I like it very much.
I also like Sir Laurence Olivier's Hamlet.
I have many pigeons sitting on the heads of famous people in London. LOL

I tend to notice buildings rather than sculptures in the street (especially the more modern ones which don’t really appeal to me).

I love the South Bank and have walked it loads of times. I've still not seen all of these sculptures though! Why is 'Town Planning' so sexy?! It has the least sexy name!

I would have loved to be in on the town planning discussion. "So - I want to design a figure for Town Planning and I'm thinking I'll have a very fit male body thrusting his groin towards some architectural callipers." What were they thinking????
Some of the sculptures are in the Jubilee Gardens and St Thomas' Hospital, so they aren't immediately obvious.
