You're welcome! I really like the Embankment Gardens in the summer. They are a little oasis in a busy part of London.

Thank you for the virtual tour. I recognise some of those locations from our many visits to London, but others were new.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. There were some new things I'd not seen before too!

And I've also been hit with a yearning to revisit the Courtauld Gallery for the 4th? 5th?time. Best Impressionist collection ever.

It was very interesting as there were a couple of things I'd not seen before. The Courtauld Gallery has a lovely Monet Exhibition I'm looking forward to seeing.
Dr Johnson's House is on our list of things to see, and we STILL haven't seen it!

We were on a rather damp walking tour yesterday too but of Chelsea, which was also very interesting. London is such a great place for walks despite the weather.

I always think Embankment Gardens is a little oasis in the summer. It's a lovely place to stop and eat too.
I always learn/see something new on a walking tour. They are so interesting, aren't they!

No, often a building is called a 'court' because it's near to a courtyard area (which that one is). There are little courtyards all around the back streets of London because of the way new buildings follow the layout of older ones that disappeared.
