Van Gogh at The National Gallery

That is a wonderfully curated exhibition.

Starry Night Over the Rhone is one of my favourite paintings as are all the variations of the Sunflowers. Van Gogh had a unique style and yet his work isn't really repetitive no matter how many sunflowers you see.
I would love to see this.

It had a lot more, but there's a limit on how many photos I wanted to upload LOL!
I thought all the paintings were really individual. You could see how his style slightly changed over the two years and was influenced by his artist friends. He was very prolific in those last two years.

I really enjoyed all the flower paintings too.

I do like his textures on trees ... and the "starry night" is truly stunning, isn't it? I think it's my favourite of his paintings.
