Thank you for these highlights of your gallery visit. We used to visit London a lot, but usually combined a mini-break with something important that G wanted to do. So I would go gallery visiting while G attended an academic conference. Now he's been retired for a few years, these are no longer of interest to him, so we don't have that motivation any more.

You're welcome! It's a long way for you to come!

Yes indeed!

I absolutely love the Burlington Hiuse cartoon.
I seem to recall that many years ago, Fortnum and Mason did the Advent Calendar in their windows.

It was very powerful. I don't think it was curated particularly well, as I ended up puzzling over the photos I'd taken because the links weren't always obvious. It was really good to write the entry to sort out how everything connected.
Yes, that Burlington House cartoon is spectacular, isn't it!

Those naked men rushing to get their kit on is hilarious!

It's quite clever how it really looks like they are rushing. I rather like that there are just some hands poking out of the river in the foreground! The whole man is underwater!!

You got three of the four Ninja turtles there! It looks like a great exhibition.
Fortnum and Mason did the advent calendar thing last year too although I can't remember what I saw behind the windows!

LOL! Mr Cee said the same thing about the turtles *g*. It was a good exhibition - I'm glad I went.
I must have missed the adventto F&M last year. I'll try and remember to take a look next time I'm that way in December.
