You really don't miss what you have until you lose it. It's nice to again be able to have a dozen things open (I'm a multi-tasker) including some real memory hoggers like Photoshop and Photoshop Album and still have over 500 MB of RAM free! It'll be awhile before I feel like I'm running out of space when I've only got ~30 GB free.

OMGz! It feels good to be 'home'! And by home, I mean, "back on my computer." I have all my email accounts forwarded to my Gmail account so I could easily get my mail while in Kansas and I've fallen in love with the interface. I'm seriously considering dropping Outlook. You would not believe how much slower USB 1.1 is compared to 2.0! Transferring a couple Megs of pictures from my SD card to the hard drive usually takes <30 seconds on my computer. It's a 10 minute endeavor on this 2000-model Gateway. Also, my external USB (also really slow access) hard drive is formatted as NTFS. Windows ME [shudder] does not ( Read more... )

I feel like such a jet-setter:

I my first Wi-fi connection in an airport! This is going to be short because writing on this PDA is gainfully slow, but I just wanted to let you all know!
Also, the plane had XM Satellite Radio in each of the seats. Pretty cool.

My Grandma just died today at around 69 years of age. What a dreary day it's been.

There was a girl running after the shuttle this morning and she dropped her iPod on the concrete parking lot. How painful that must've been. It hurt me, and it wasn't even my iPod!

I had no idea my RA was soo cool. Turns out he's in a band called Mobella. A good one. Went and saw them at the Hard Rock Cafe tonight.
