i spent the bulk of tonight working on brian's computer. he's got this very interesting problem where a few seconds after turning on his pc, his monitor goes blank as if the pc has gone idle. i hooked his monitor up to my tower and it works fine, so the monitor's not the problem. the dell website seems to think it's a power supply issue, and i ( Read more... )

well, brian is not a piece of shit. everything got figured out last night and it's all fine. i don't want to get into it on the internet about what happened but it got explained, and we're ok. everyone still lives here, and his tv escaped unharmed. have a good day, all.
