I agree with lefthandedlib. You should be tested anonymously anyway. Some states have mandatory reporting laws. Laws vary by state. Washington is relatively enlightened, maybe that's not the law there.

nope, in Washington they require clinics to report. hence why you should give a fake name or no name at an anonymous testing site.

Yeah, but at least I hopefully won't have to worry about being deported in the near future if I were ever diagnosed and the government found out. That's my biggest concern: it'd be an awful situation all around. I actually had to be tested for HIV when I got my green card.
