narcissism and therapy and recovery
For the first half of this year, I had a very tumultuous, on-agan-off-again relationship with this guy. It was intense. It ended in early June, and then we made a brief try at reconciliation last month. Turns out he actually is as much of a narcissist as I suspected the first time we had a row back in February. There was no milk in the fridge today so I couldn't have cereal. Instead, I had some Bulgarian yogurt with frozen blueberries. It was more satisfying than I anticipated! Winter is here. It snowed a whole bunch last night, and the roads are treacherous today. I miss my old AWD Subaru (which is still sitting in my garage, dead). If anything I've become much less self-centered over the past couple of years. This is in large part due to my job, which doesn't necessarily require me to pay close attention to the inner workings of people's brains, but that is definitely what I end up doing pretty often.
