When I got home today, this huge portrait of Lexi was sitting on the couch. I noticed that in the picture she was wearing a locket, then suddenly Ryan unleashed her from the back room and she ran to greet me. The ring was in the locket!

Ryan and I now have five computers between the two of us.

Tim Russert died today. He was an institution and political journalism will never be the same- he asked questions when no one else would and never pussyfooted around.

He probably helped shape my interest in politics more than anyone else.

I'll miss his white board and smiling face.
