Facebook Application
I've just installled the BlogIt application on Facebook and I'm writing this inside Facebook.
So far though I'm not sure why this application is needed. I can't se my other posts, at least I don't think so and it doesn't have a spell-checker. I guess I need to explore using Facebook from my mobile to see if there are any advantages.

Day 4 Rhyader to Brecon
I was looking forward to this day as it was quite short and I expected it to be pretty much downhill as we were to follow the Wye. I was quite wrong!

Day 3
The Braich Coch is a little off the Lon Las so we had to start our day by retracing our steps for about a mile before crossing the valley and heading for Machynlleth by the back roads. Lon Las Challenge 2008 Day 2-Tremadoc to Corris
According to a late returner from the pub the snoring in the men's dorm was of impressive quality and quantity!
The self-catering kitchen at Snowdon Lodge is a bit cramped but Jess and Emma managed to turn out the now expected mountain of sandwiches for lunch as well more porridge and scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Lon Las Challenge 2008 Day 1-Holyhead to Tremadoc
The day started with the first breakfast produced by Jess and Emma (Bennets). First class porridge and scrambled eggs, which were to be our staple throughout the ride.

Lon Las Challenge 2008 Day 0-Cardiff to Holy Island
The day didn't start well as I was due at the surgery for another hormone implant at 0810 but I'd forgotten to collect the implant from the pharmacy the previous afternoon. I turned up hoping that the pharmacist had sent it to the surgery anyway but unfortunately she hadn't. The nurse weighed me and took my blood pressure. I've actually lost 3Kg ( ( Read more... ) -

Training Again
I have had a bad chest infection so I didn't ride at all from the 9th until yesterday, the weather at the start of that period didn't help either.
I've managed two 16-mile rides in the last two days. I still haven't managed any significant hill climbs and my legs seemed to have lost a lot of strength so I'm getting worried about the ride. However, ( Read more... ) -
Hill-climbing
I'd meant to get off early this morning and do as a long a ride as I could manage and still get back for the rugby. I got up early as I had to take my wife to college this morning.
