I've hit a patch where I feel like I'm screwing up everything I touch (and everyone's life I touch). I don't know what to do but stop doing anything, and clearly that is no help to anyone either. I'm sure you're being way too hard on yourself. When I'm in an awful rut like that, I do something totally philanthropic. If you have some money, make a donation to The Humane Society. If you have some time, volunteer somewhere. If you don't have much of either, clean out your closet and donate the clothes to a woman's shelter. Things like this always help me feel like I'm turning my karma around.

I really like this suggestion...doing something that involves giving to someone else. I also think you are being too hard on yourself. And I think that someone being a good or bad person is always relative. But for me it has to do with who the person is and their actions. I think our actions represent who we are. And I think that someone who is bad recognizes that they are bad, that they treat/interact with people in a negative manner, and that sometimes they enjoy being bad. I'm sorry you are having a hard time and I hope you start to feel better.
