So the littlest Baerp broke his ankle overnight Thursday -> Friday. He also dislocated the ulner that is supposed to sit on one of the ankle bones. They have brought up the idea of surgery but right now he is in a neon green cast. He is so unhappy and hasn't figured out how to move or why he's being restrained. It is one of the most

Awww!!! Poor kitty! Nicolas did something like this to himself while Jack was holding him; he HAD TO GET DOWN NOW and when he landed something went wrong. Trip to emergency vet, etc. His was not a break and he didn't need a cast, but I was very worried with all the limping.

Hero had to have the medicine patch and we could not get that damn thing to stay on. They put a whole complex bandage over it just to get it to stay on.

I hope there is no surgery necessary and Baerp heals quickly!

How did he manage that?

Now _I_ want a pain patch.

I don't know. At about 4 in the morning I was woken up by a crash and howling and jumped out of bed to find him lying on his side in front of the fridge. The best I can guess is he lost his footing on the fridge and landed on the dust pan that was sitting below the fridge and skidden somehow on it. He has really good landing ability so it was something beneath him that threw him off.

He's pretty grumpy right now.
