QUESTION:  when you are hungry and hormonal, is there a less satisfying vending machine option than PRETZELS?

ANSWER:   no.  there's not.  on the other hand, they are healthier than my preferred snack of a half dozen reese's peanut butter cups.

WINNER:  ding ding ding!  my pasty ass.

we're one day behind schedule on stuff at home.  i won't name names, but someone didn't read the instructions that came with the ceiling fan, so the installation took two days.  two of the longest days of my life.

i'm so sick of chick peas!

they've been in approximately 94.37% of the meals i've eaten in the last two weeks, and not because i've asked for them.

after seeing all the progress my brother and his woman made in just two days of being in their house, chris and i are really cracking on our renovations and i'm proud of what we've accomplished:

chris replaced all the old two-prong sockets in the guest room yesterday and i painted the ceiling.  he's putting up the new ceiling fan tonight.  i'm ( Read more... )
