Well, its been a while since the last post, so

For the most part, all's well.  Turned 29 last month, though it really didn't feel like it.  Was up in San Francisco for Thanksgiving during that time, which was fine.  Maybe I'll actually hold a party next year or so. Guess we'll see.

Well, it’s been a little interesting around here lately.

The High Holidays are over and past. They actually went by pretty easily. There was a BIG thunderstorm on the night of Yom Kippur. One particular thunderclap was loud enough to rattle the house, awaken all of us who had dozed off downstairs, set off car alarms and set the dog to barking. ( Read more... )

Rebellious informed several of us this morning of James Oliver Rigney Jr.'s, otherwise known to millions worldwide as Robert Jordan, passing. It's something of a shock. I knew about the terminal illness he had, but the last report I'd read talked glowingly about how well he was doing and that he was beating the disease.

In regards to the post 5 days ago, it was a pretty shitty morning, starting out with two incidents on the freeway that nearly got me nailed. I don't know why, but for some reason I'm feeling really antsy this morning (and just fidgety in general, lately). This does not bode well when there at least 7 more hours of sitting here doing what amounts to data-entry for the rest of the day...
