End times keep coming, but no one's getting raptured
The storms in the midwest have been just awful, these past few days. It's just devastating to see the pictures and video coming out of Joplin, MO. A night out(side) at the movies!
Last night was our inaugural trip to the Starlite for the season, where we had a fantastically fun game night and picnic, before taking in Thor and True Grit ( Read more... ) -
Drive-in is a go!
We'll be in the usual spot (provided someone doesn't get there before us and steal it) - front and center.
Look for a light blue Kia and a bunch of nerds with games and baked goods. -

(Not only does the extended forecast call for possible rain Saturday, there's also an InConJunction meeting in Indianapolis, so Friday's it for me.) -
No Peeps
I searched high and low yesterday, and there were no Peeps to be found!
I've already shared my Peeps and was hoping to pick up some more.
Saturday evening, there was a whole freaking endcap of them at Target (which was closed Sunday). Monday by lunch, there was NOTHING.
I smell a conspiracy. -
One week until Race for the Cure
The countdown is on - one week from today is Race for the Cure, and my team (The League of Extraordinary Gentlegeeks) will be moseying together, hopefully wearing fun and geeky outfits. (It may rain, so that could limit what people are willing/able to wear.)

Racing for the Cure
At least one good thing that happens every year around my birthday is Race for the Cure, which supports breast cancer research.
My team (the League of Extraordinary Gentlegeeks) and I will be participating in the Race for the Cure in Indianapolis, on April 16.
