Where do I start...

( By warning people that spoilers lay ahead. )

It can be read... here. It feels great to actually see my name... or rather my handle... on something that I've wanted to do for a long time.  Of course now the task is to get my translation caught up to the other scanlation groups' translations in terms of speed.  I'm 3 chapters behind apparently.

Good show, bad ending.

Apparently the anime caught up with the manga, so I checked what happened in the manga that didn't in the story, and...

Damn... I really wish mangaka thought there was another type of ending besides "open".

Still, it's a fun series, so long as you go in knowing it's kind of a shaggy dog story.

Awesome.

Despite the fact that the relationships never change from beginning to end of the anime, it always feels like something is happening. Never once did I stop and say "Could we get on with it already?"

Kind of a masterpiece of simple plot made absolutely enthralling.

In addition to my writing, I've wanted for a long time to work in a capacity where both Japanese and English are spoken.  The problem is, as I've seen today when I started looking seriously at jobs in this field, is that there seems to be no real field for it in America other than if you're a native Japanese speaker ( Read more... )
