Big News!!!
I don't update this nearly as much as I should. But I have big news tonight. I'm engaged! I proposed to Jenna on Monday and she said yes. Our respective Jewish parents have already kicked into planning mode and the date is tentativily set for April 10, 2011 (late because of the economy, not because of fear or any of that). New Years Greetings
Happy New Year to all my fellow Judeans, may it prove to be sweet and happy. I told the Face Book friends that on Rosh Hashanah we indulge in apples, honey and the blood of Christian babies. Woohoo. I'm off to see the mighty Dodgers whallop Houston! The Dodgers are my 3rd favorite team, after the Red Sox and the Angels. I'm more than happy to see them go all the way this year, so long as its not against the Sox. -

Fun weekend
Friday seemed to be shaping up to be a disaster beginning with a hellacious GRE math study session that was punctuated with unpleasant calls from my father. It was followed by a vicious tribulation of a drive from Huntington Beach to Eagle Rock/Pasadena which saw me in bumper to bumper/stop and go traffic from Long Beach on. I went to the beach today. The water was warm and stunningly clear, the color of glimmering emerald. The break was about 3-4' big enough for fun but not exceptionally rough.
