People don't always come into your life when you want them... but they come right on time

So I've been deathly ill since Sunday, a week ago tomorrow.
I haven't seen any of my friends.
And I haven't gotten much better since then.
I still sound like a ninety year old woman with chronic emphysema. 
It's real sexy you know.
Anyway, despite muchos crap going through my brain constantly... and having to return to work today;

 Meh, now that I got it out of my system I feel much better.
I know I've made it more than it ever has been or ever will be.
                     My imagination soars.
  I am aware of reality though. 
            And I am very happy<3

As a outsider looking in I know it's unrealistic.  I know if anything were going to happen it would have happened.  I know that I'm keeping my hopes up for a nearly impossible outcome.  I know that.  I almost want to say that I can't help it.  I know I can.  I just don't want to let go of that little bit of hope you give me.
