I started my first shift at the pizzeria today. It was hectic, to say the least. The phones and the counter would be dead for nearly half an hour, and then they'd blaze up like crazy. I am so frazzled from trying to remember all the menu codes and prices (because this place is an independent joint, there is no fancy-schmancy computer system.;

You are not a shitty person for standing up someone who sounds pretty selfish and insensitive. You are protecting your boundries, and while that may rattle folks' cages every once in a while, it is a fully righteous act.

My dear Michael Canty. I said nothing about enjoying Alabama. This may develop some day, but not yet. I'm taking baby steps by enjoying the native fauna of Alabama, in the form of Shea, Keith, Russell and Jessy.
