I really want to take part in a clothes swap event, I have (literally) heaps of clothes that I am not going to wear and that I think are too nice to destroy. What would be a rough idea of annual living costs (rent, feeding etc) for London?  I'm trying to work out whether it would be possible to live off of £15,000 a year in London. London is a big strange place that I know nothing about other than it is more expensive than real places.

Advice?

There is a Lip Service Long Black coat about a size 12-14/ medium I'd say (too big for me) with padlocks on, goes down to ankle length, zip up front, £5.99 from the Save the children charity shop. One padlock appears to be missing.
