Before coming to SH, I was complaining that my hair grows sooo slowly and it is still sooo short. And also, my roots are showing from my dye and it is freaking ugly. Seeing that I am now in the land of cheap stuff, I have done a lot to my hair in this short period of time. And I am pleased with the end results!

So it was national day last weekend, and 3 Singaporeans stuck in Shanghai decided that the nation's birthday calls for a special kind of celebration! And thus, we decided to go to the circus!

this is a very much overdue entry. but the eclipse was not very nice to begin with so i was not motivated to blog about it any sooner until i realize i have a backlog of entries now.

the past two weeks have been a very tiring and busy week for me. it is not busy in a fulfilling sense, but busy in a "what the hell! what am i suppose to do! WHAT IS HAPPENING" way.

i am sitting at coffee bean, sipping on my cinnamon ice blended and enjoying a plate of spicy tuna linguine. hmm.... my first ever pasta in shanghai... nice...

there is now a flu bug going on in the whole 82号，everyone is sick in varying degrees.

2 weeks before we left for Hangzhou, kim, mei wei and I were toying with the idea of going to Hangzhou for a weekend getaway. The Friday one week before we left we booked our hotel rooms. Today marks my second week in Shanghai! Whoots! I am adapting quite well to life in Shanghai. Though the work sucks, it is tiring and very soul sucking. But other than that, life in Shanghai is pretty alright ( Read more... )

this entry is probably too late and posted before in my other journal. but i still think that is it is still a better idea to have a separate journal for my travelogue. so... kimchixlb is born :)

basically it is call kimchixlb because they are the most representative food from the 2 countries that I will be going to in this year.
