I survived getting the tube in my ear just fine. I took a Xanax before hand and I know it helped a lot. I actually had some anxiety about it today too, which I thought was weird. I need to put some steroid drops in it for 2 weeks to reduce inflammation but no one in town has it until Monday. I do feel some odd pressure changes in my ear that I hadn ( Read more... ) -

So I mentioned I got a hearing aid about a month ago, right? I decided to get a second opinion and had my hearing checked at an Ear, Nose, Throat clinic. They found similar results but thought it was odd only 1 ear had issues. Saw the Doctor and he said it looked like I've had some fluid in there a while and am having some pressure issues with it. Last night we went to dinner with Cory and Tarn to a place called Brazil Grill. It's in downtown Portland. Basically it's an all you can eat place where people come to your table with all sorts of meat. Mean on swords to be exact. They shave the meat off into your plate! I had my second therapy session today. I learned I have PTSD from my previous marriage. Apparently some of Casey's actions towards me (because of his Bi-Polar) is reminding me of Kenny. Independence Day!
Happy 4th of July everyone! Hope everyone has a safe holiday! We are taking the boys to Logan and Amanda's for a big BBQ on the farm. Lots of friends will be there. Should be a blast! Amber is going on her own with her boyfriend Sean this year to friends. -

We weren't really going to do anything for Easter this year. Not really even sure who's Easter it was supposed to be this year, but the kids spent the last half of Spring Break at Julie's so we just let them stay through the weekend. OMG, When I woke up this morning I had no idea I'd be seeing Adam Lambert today. My friend from work won tickets on her way in to work. She asked me to go with her! It was at this tiny McMenamin's venu called Al's Den. I had no idea it existed. It's under the Crystal Hotel. It held about 50 people. We were literally like 5 feet away from Adam. I had SOOOO much fun last night. Darcelle's was amazing. I've never seen a drag queen show before. Seriously hilarious. The strippers afterward weren't all that great though... we did go to The Original Pancake House afterwards. I had never been. Man that place was hopping after the bars close. I sure have some amazing friends! -
My birthday!
It's my birthday! I'm 37 today. A bunch of us are going to Old Town Pizza tonight, then to Darcelle's. I've never been there but I hear it's tons of fun. Staying for the male strippers at midnight too! :) Should be fun! Scott bought me a small wine fridge for my birthday. I also got some large wine glasses and a keychain breathalyser test!
