It had been a long night. Sleeping on a couch, something he'd never done before, was the most uncomfortable thing he'd ever done in his life. Well, maybe not THE most uncomfortable, but it was up there on the 'never going to do again' scale. The couch was too short and his legs were jammed up on him. Suffice to say, I'm never asking hotel management if I can get a stripper pole in my hotel room ever again.  The looks I get at my horrible French are bad enough.  But to ask for a stripper pole, not knowing the exact words for it, is very, very, embarrassing.  I don't think I've ever been so red ( Read more... )

They'd been traveling all day.  Five hour boat ride, customs check, plane ride, customs check, another plane ride to France, customs check and finally Paris.  Needless to say, by the time they got to the hotel and checked in, all he really wanted to do was lay down and sleep the entire time.  He was a horrible sleeper on boat and especially planes ( Read more... )
