Been a long time
Since I last posted here,but as LJ is the main way my friends across the pond communicate, it's only fair to post once and a while instead of just lurk. Add that and it's a better format to work things out than FB (too many of my work colleagues are on FB), and so I really should be more balanced ( Read more... ) -

So, I'm hanging with firekitten and all the denizens of the Spodhouse, and I thought I should update on my trip.
Tomorrow: sit on my heels, plan for my interviews. Train schedules into London--I have been told that the holiday messes it up.
Monday: interview with Leicester at 12:30, the Big One is at two in the American Embassy. Need to look that up too ( Read more... ) -

I don't want to miss school. Please, please let this over-reaction pass us by. I get that the CDC is making districts close down affected schools. I do. but I don't want to be out of school! Please!

friday I went and got my blister looked at by a doc. It had gotten fairly painful, and was hobbling me. Turns out, it had migrated--grown, really--to the arch of my foot. So the doc asked me if I wanted it lanced ( Read more... ) -

So it's around this time that I want to make my predictions on the final four.
I expect Carla, Stephan, Jamie and FAbio to make it to the finale. I think Stephan will win, even though he is an ass. But he is good.
