Arthur/Merlin. Merlin spells himself to be the perfect servant, and he loses his whole personality in the process. (I'm hoping also for some memory loss, like forgetting everything about his magic and any magic-related event than happened). Kudos for some Arthur emotional-angst when he realizes Merlin did it for him and it's his fault.

Oh, duuuude!
I am going out of my mind waiting for this. It's unsettling that no one's caught on yet... Merlin does seem like he'd be the most efficient at reversing spells, so it makes sense. It's sort of like the only doctor being sick...

“Merlin!” he roared, the moment he was within sight of Gaius’ door. The yell was instinctual, a habit he’d gained of announcing his presence to his wayward manservant. He could expect to storm into the physician’s chambers and find Merlin stumbling over himself in an attempt to look like he’d actually been doing something, and belying it all with that guilty little grin on his face

And this Merlin - this strange, docile creature - finally crumpled under the onslaught, without ever uttering a word in his defense.

*facepalm* maybe NOW Arthur will realize there's something wrong (before he really irretrievably breaks Merlin!!!) Wonderful update, Author!Anon!!! Loving the angsty quality of this and my h/c shoulderdevil thanks you for the Merlin pain!!!

Eeeeee, so exciting! Like those above, I am in love with the angst, particularly Merlin taking the brunt of Arthur's frustration.... imagining the passive new Merlin just taking those hits gives me shivers!!
