[ooc; Alright, people. This post will take place as a recorded log post. Meaning, we'll still post as though they are journal comments, but they'll be happening in real-time. For an example of how that works, check
this out. All actions have been placed in ooc brackets while the speech continues. Of course those were just us being random, but

Defendant Reeve Tuesti is allowed to be brought in. Continue with the prosecution.

Reeve Tuesti, you may adress the court once you have been sworn in.
Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God?

Sit down, Cait... thank you, Mr. Kiske... Your Honor. Precious little 'honor' there, but....
... Mr. Kiske claims that I have pled guilty to a group of my peers in a pre-trial hearing. I cannot completely deny this, as I will not deny having breached the gates of the Underworld. I can't even remember the pre-trial clearly enough to contradict it.... However, I willingly committed this offense to uncover greater sacriledges that I d- that I knew to be happening under the cover of night.
I have dedicated my life, before my arrival here in Vertere and since, to defending those in need. To protecting those who cannot protect themselves. To ensuring innocents are never hurt by the power struggles and issues of the world around them. To think that I- I would never intentionally harm another person, no matter my own views. I have no desire for revolt, nor for power, but to ensure the well-being of those I care for. To do anything such as what- what happened that night- would be impossible.
I didn't want to bring this ( ... )

Officer Raziel, is everyone present in the courtroom of well-intent?
Reply
Their thoughts are mixed but no, not everyone has well intents. The emotions are complex too. His honor is confident of his cards...
We must stay alert.

Officer Kiske wasn't happy that he was chosen to play the prosecution. This person understands why.. He seems to be rather assured, this person has noticed as well.
It's almost as if the outcome is decided, whether or whether not one likes it.

This isn't justice! It reminds me our old system in Heaven.
I know. But it's still unfair and I won't stand up this much longer.

Still, something about all of this.. this whole trial just does not feel right to me. ..and where could she be? She said she would be here.. not mention the fact Touma should be here as well.
[ooc; And then looks around carefully before looking back to the trial at hand.]

Officer..? What's the matter?

Someone I know said she would be here but is not. Reeve-san is a dear friend of hers and yet she's nowhere to be seen.

Yeah, this whole situation seems sort of far-fetched...

My my.. it's been quite some time since I was last in a court room. What a change it is to be watching instead of being on the stands..

I'm sorry, but... what has happened here?

This man here is on trial for disobeying the laws of the city. And for stealing a cookie from the cookie jar.

And... it is not imprisonment, but a... trial of this size?
