Long ago, I made a commitment to myself, that I would not let this blog become corrupted by images and videos as a replacement for actual thought and writing.  To me, there is something incredibly important about the written word, even in a time where video and images dictate so many aspects of our lives.  This importance is not diminished to me ( Read more... )

Last night I dreamt about her again.  I don't know why, she was so long ago and the dream was so very involved.  Ahh, this place is messing with my head I fear.

"Why are you reading him?"

"Because he interests me."

"But I don't understand how you can keep reading about someone else's life where they explain it to you."

Tonight, I went to a midnight release of brawl.

The following occurred:
I got brawl.
I lost more faith in humanity.
My love of video games died a little more.
I concluded midnight releases would be good recruiting grounds for my school's CS department.

As a result, I decided henceforth to never go to a midnight release again...

It was a day like any other. The sky was a brilliant shade of turquoise intermingled with the color that pomegranates stain white shirts. That was all outside however, inside the gymnasium focus was on presentations.
