I've been doing a lot of thinking over the last few days. Trying to figure out my life now that I'm 30. I don't think I have any answers, but I think I at least have a better idea of the questions now.

Yesterday morning the father of a close friend passed away after a long illness. I found out about it in the afternoon. I held it together for a few hours while I was with another group of friends but once I got some time on my own I started crying and I only stopped when I slept. Eight years since I first talked to a doctor about being trans.
Seven years since I started coming out to everyone.
Six years since I started living as a woman.
Four years since I legally changed my name.
Today I finally, FINALLY, started NHS funded hormones.
