such as they are. she does not like the camera at all.  the only one in which you can see her face, notice that she is staring at the camera as if it is evil.  this is always her look when i take out the camera, lol.  i wanted to get one with my hand so you could see just how tiny she is, but that hasn't happened yet.  maybe this weekend, with any ( Read more... )

What a sweetie!

I have a six week old baby kitty too! His name is Apollo.

Here is the only one I got of him that shows how small he is. They are quick little buggers, aren't they! :P

sweet! mine is as yet unnamed. if i figure out the sex soon, that might help with the naming. so far the only name that has garnered any response is licorice, lol. though if it's a girl, it might be pandora.

Um... this may be a stupid question, but don't they have any genitalia that you can refer to for the gender? Or do you just not want to play gynecologist with your cat? Pandora is a great name! Maybe Pan in case it's a boy?

kitty hates being picked up and is tiny and squirmy and black to boot, so it's hard to see. frankly i have not tried that hard. it will be easier when my sister comes over and then whatever i think i see, there will be a second opinion to verify it.

*dies from cute overload*

OMG! He/she is adorable!!!

And those eyes!!!!

I just wanna put her/him in a bowl and eat him up!

Or put kitty in my palm and revert to cutesy baby talk...

i am thinking it's a he. i await confirmation from my sister tomorrow, but s/he rolled over to where i saw the tummy clearly in the well-lit bathroom, and i think that looked more like a boy flap of skin than a girly kind of thing down there, lol.

and i hear you. he'd fit very nicely in some bowls that i have - i ought to pose him in one. look, i'm already starting to change up the pronouns. *sigh*

and there may have been baby talk used ... but not when he is gnawing on my shin bones.

The first picture looks like a little ball of fluff so cute! Licorice would work for a boy or a girl. I had a guinea pig named licorice.

he is kind of a ball of fluff, lol. yeah, one big thing in favor of licorice is its unisexism, lol.

He is SO tiny! I guess he will grow into those eyes, but right now they look enormous in comparison to his body! He's a gremlin, lol!

Actually, he knows very well that's a camera you're pointing at him. It's just that he's thinking "Oh, jeez... she's taking photos of me when I'm young, dorky, and vulnerable, and she's going to post them all over the internet, and I will never live them down. I must learn all I can about computers so that I can break the Internet. That should do it..."

he is extremely tiny. i think they should have left him with his mama for another couple of weeks. i also think you are right and he *is* a gremlin, and he ate after midnight! and all those other things! that would explain how he's been behaving today, lol.

oh no! am i cohabiting with basement!cat? i was afraid of that.
