well we are (sort of) unpacked in the new apartment. We still need a bookshelf, bed, and desk, among other things, but other than that it's very cozy. We FINALLY heard from the landlord and we are going to move in to our awesome new apartment. it is beautiful and wonderful and it has a bar top counter between the kitchen and living room. huzzah! we move on saturday morning at the crack of dawn. hopefully some friends can come out to help us unpack.

we are in la hunting apartments. all the driving around hoping to find a not-crusty place to live is very taxing i find. also it is still killer hot here. so far tamisha prefers the place that is crusty outside and newly remodeled inside. i prefer the slightly smaller place with more character and a swimming pool. we are looking at more places all ( Read more... )

I'm feeling very frazzled about all my exams and minor last minute crap and evil TAs hassling me. Bio lab TAs are vile, vindictive creatures.
