Oh my gosh, an update!

Oct 29, 2009 20:11

I would say I need to get on this whole updating thing but I'm coming to terms with fall being a mostly lost cause every year. Although I love you dearly fall, this whole crazy-busy schedule mixed with less sunlight to keep me going and healthy thing may not be working out quite so well.

Regardless, exciting things have been happening! ( And I shall list them in point form for brevity )

birthday, japan life, travel, student antics, school

I don't have TV but I've heard Glee is fantastic and I can't wait to watch it when it's on DVD.

It's always the most confident or experienced of people that make the most epic mistakes (cutting the palm open):P

Chicken Run isn't too embarrassing... now if you bought Glitter (Maria Carey movie) I may have laughed a little ;).

I download a lot of the TV that's not out on DVD here yet. My neighbor is trying to win me over to the streaming sites where you can watch for free. It is indeed fantastic and I think you'll enjoy it a lot! Really over-the-top fun and ridiculous subplots.

I think it might also have helped that the other classes were all in the cooking room with two teachers and stable tables and she was on her own in a classroom with a wheelie table and wobbly desks. It's sad though. Poor thing still has a class full of super-hyper littles to deal with.

If I had bought Glitter I would have had to be very worried about myself. But for some reason dancing Chickens are a fantastic mood lifter.

GLEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE GLEE!!! Merlin, no. But Glee, OMG yes.

Yay pumkins! Glad no one got really hurt. Usually is the adults though...

Yay, you're older! Never as old as me though, lucky for you. Sorry I missed your birthday, I have been rather sick here. Glad you had fun and 2 desserts are always better than one! Evil store moving near you, I had the same problem when Books and Co. first opened and I had money. Hmmm...and when GWE first started getting manga...maybe I just have no restraint...Nah. Definitely the store's fault.

Have fun in Okinawa and take lots of pictures!! Sounds like fun.

Haha, that's okay. I can't even tell you why I love Merlin. But I think it's the combination of singing, dancing, characters, and the wth subplots that make me love Glee. I adore Puck and Finn. Especially Puck.

I was very carefully instructing my kids to keep their hand on the not-sharp side of the knife and away from the back-side of the pumpkin where the knife was coming out. I think the grown ups get too comfortable and make mistakes.

I'm older! It's okay, we're growing together! :D I hope you get better soon! Two desserts are better than one but man was I ready to roll on home. Forget walking.

I know I have no self restraint. I just found a bag with two more balls of wool that I had forgotten I bought this week. Oh god. Between that and my need to own more books/paper things... Oh Candice, I have a problem. Thank goodness it's only a things problem!

So did you tell the teacher about your pumpkin emergency room visit?

I sat with the no-homeroom teachers at lunch and we talked about it. When I told them one said 'Everyone!' meaning: 'Everyone cuts themselves making pumpkins!'. I did tell her that even if it's bad she can regain full mobility with hand exercises.
