I JUST ATE, and yet I'm starving again. Just from reading your post. It was like that poem by WCW about eating the plums in the icebox. You taunt me, woman!
Have a fresh apricot for me. I've never had one, as normal grocery stores don't carry them. Perhaps one day (in summer, of course) I'll go out of my way to one of those gourmet stores and see if they have some. Still, like most produce, I doubt they're as good as they are fresh off the tree.
I'll have to wait six months for our farmers market to open once again! You obviously live in paradise to be able to grow such a nice variety of fruits and vegetables.
Oh I'm so envious of the array of fresh fruits you have on hand. Many of the fruits in our large scale grocery stores are so genetically modified to be made in bulk and to look "perfect" that they taste like freshly cut cardboard.
Thankfully we have some organic markets (and even better) farmers markets that make access to "real fruits" available.
