I've been laughed at when I have a hole in my pants, made fun of for my religion, threatened, mugged twice, kidnapped once, and lost a political election. Yet, someone telling me that a service I provide is bad...that cuts to the bone.

Floored
I climb towers, build, work on/under/around cars, and generally stay active. I thought I was healthy...until I started doing flooring. Oh God help me! D: I can't believe how hard it is!

Spair Oom
I can't believe how fast I'm blasting through this major home repair.
Basically, when they built this house, they threw a footer down, joists, floor, padding, carpet, then exterior walls on TOP of the carpet, dreaded masonite on the exterior walls, roof, insulation, drywall....then they went, "Oops! We forgot to do plumbing and electrical!"

Thinking outside the econobox
I've got an old rusty trusty 2001 Nissan Altima GXE. I bought it for a song, and it's a good little car. Passed VA inspection, no major mechanical issues, upgraded the stereo of course... Stock, the KA24DE motor does 150HP. It's peppy, and I would be happy to keep it at that, but my Turbo Dodge's have spoiled me.

Hmmmmm, it's my 20 year anniversary. What to say? I'm about to be a dad of four wonderful kids with the world ahead of them. I miss some of my friends, and I still have some after all of this time. Moving, or something else
Looks like something is going to have to change in the next couple weeks. Some big things will have to change. This is going to be very hard, no matter how I look at it.
I'll just have to have faith in God and in my fellow man. -

About the only thing unchanged
My Winchester and Berkeley Springs stores are closed. Two of the cats in my user pictures have passed. The "Vector Linux" user picture doesn't represent my favorite flavor of Linux. Isis wrote two very beautiful pages for Sara. I can't bear to look at them anymore, but they are very good pages, and they're very beautiful. Sara meant as much to Isis as to me, and we will miss her so much.

The cat in my LJ Icon in this image died on Friday, Feb 6th, 2009. We've been bawling for days, and we're still remembering so many more things that made Sara such a special cat.
