I'm not a particular fan of this newspaper, or the royals for that matter, but if you're a fan you can now knit your own!

My brother just told me that he's been regularly wearing the hat which I made for him over Christmas.  Woo-hoo!

Everything else I've made for my family members has either been lost or put away in some unknown part of the house.

Have you guys heard of these new querrilla knitting groups taking Tokyo by storm? One is called Kedako (literally "woolen/hairy octopus") and the other is called Ami Kishu Dan ("Surprise Attack Knitting Group"). Want to join one of these groups! Love the octopi on the streetcar! Want the pattern!

Do you have a stitch pattern that drives you crazy to knit?

I am doing a lot of 1x1 ribbing today and it is doing my head in! Actually, most ribbing drives me crazy, but 2x2 or more I can cope with slightly better.
