I forgot, the other day on of my residents had a birthday, and her son brought in a cake for her and the staff. So me being 'nice' offered to get a piece of it for the BAB. It happened to fall on the floor, instead of throwing it out and getting a new piece, I picked it up, put it back on the plate, and gave it to her.

I need a new job, this job is toxic. Every single aid I know is looking for a new place to work. That does not speak well for a facility. I am considering leaving the medical field until after I have my LPN. Physically I am exhausted, mentally I'm just fed up, and emotionally I am drained.

We got such a good deal on our new car. FOr those that don't know, last night Garrick and I bought ourselves a 2001 VW Passat. Garrick just checked the blue book value on it and as a trade in it's worth more than we paid! I knew we got a good deal on it, but this is unbelievable.

I'm having a very shitty day. Fidget passed away sometime yesterday, I'm not sure when. I went in to check the ferrets food and water and found him on the bottom of the cage. Garrick is going out now to dig a hole for him. I knew it was coming, but I'm still incrediably broken up. The worst part is I have to work today.

So far no news on the BAB, but then again it was her day off. I'm waiting to see how tomorrow goes since she'll be back. Thankfully today was without incindent. I float up to level 3 (the hardest level) but since thats the floor I started on, it was no biggie. Funny thing is no one likes floating to level 2, which is weird since it's easier ( Read more... )
