without immigrant workers, the US economy would fall under anything anyone has ever seen. nobody gives credit to the people who will do the work that all the americans 'have too much pride to do'. basically in city areas janitorial jobs would go unfilled, in the country most people who work the factories (i know this first hand) migrated workers pretty much take everything that isn't a cushy first shift job ( ... )

Without millions in the streets? Did you actually SEE the footage in California, where kids in high school were skipping school to protest? Latino pride and such. And people want to talk about racism, but how are you supposed to mix cultures and races together when you promote standing out and pride in your own race ( ... )

yeah, i saw the millions in the streets. i thought it was great. and you know WHY? do have any idea how much immigrants are used in the US workforce!? 15 fucking percent of foreign immigrants are used as workers for our biggest corporations as manufacturing and servicing personnel. now you're getting angry about mixing races and still being proud of your race though. i suppose you're angry about another event that promoted racial pride in a community other than the white community - the million man march. the million man march was essentially a call to arms for black men around the country asking for what now immigrants are asking for, fair treatment, fair pay (immigrant wages, legal or illegal are vastly under any US citizen's wages, regardless of how hard they work most of the time), are subject to just as much if not more racism (as of late, more or less post - 1980 when the immigrant population started primarily coming from central america started being considered a threat to job security in america). there are still some MAJOR ( ... )
