Computer woes
My old desktop which has served me faithfully for so long seems to be in the process of giving up the ghost. So, no internet for me at home for a while.
On the plus side, however, I now have the perfect excuse to buy that new computer that I have been eyeing. -
Back in the city
I'm back home with internet access. Have yet to catch up on what everyone has been posting, but I hope everyone has had a good holiday season. Especially those of you who had to work and find various means of transportation! -
Had a fun day today
My parents called me up this morning and asked if I was too busy for them to come visit. We went out for the afternoon which was fun, though I think my dad was a bit bored while my mother and I went clothes shopping. They've just headed out again to make the trek home. Yelling at me for giving you zero on your discussion when you DIDN'T INCLUDE ONE that INVOLVED SENTENCES is not going to improve your grade. I don't care how hard you worked on the lab. Canadian?
Voted in the advanced pole since I have no class or meetings on Tuesday giving me the option of an exceptionally long Thanksgiving weekend if I don't have to get back into town to vote. One thing that did strike me was that, while they checked my address and name, as I used my student card for photo ID this time they had no idea if I was Canadian ( Read more... ) -

Currently heating food so taking a breather. After taking until 9 AM to figure out how to get my MC to let the hostage go and actually do something, I am about to write the big confrontation scene between her and the woman who set her up for murder. 3 Day Novel - Day Two Complete
2/3 of the way through, have no clue what my page count is since they are scattered over various files and I've moved from a plot resembling Michael Crichton's 'Sphere' set in space from my original outline to the movie 'The Negotiator'. 10:30 AM - Day 2. Antagonist finally did something evil. And broke one of the cardinal rules of the Evil Overlord List by monologuing because I don't have time for subtlety.
